Navitas LLC, Maca Power USA, and Macaweb.com, were founded in March 2003. We have been selling the Maca Power brand since 2000 worldwide through our Australian office and decided it was time to bring it to the North American market. We provide only the finest 100% Certified Organic Maca powder available.

To fulfill this goal, we work solely with our partners in Peru who have obtained Skal International organic certification and have been cultivating and processing Maca root since 1998. We are dedicated to supplying organically cultivated and processed products of high nutritive and medicinal value from Andean and Amazonian plants. Our production process enables us to develop products that retain their nutritive and medicinal properties. In the first phase of development, Navitas LLC and Maca Power are concentrating their activities on the organic cultivation and processing of Maca.

Later we plan to offer it in a variety of packaging and sizes, and to develop food and beverage products prosperity of the Andean people who farm this unique product in a time-honored way, by providing a guaranteed market for their sole crop. Because we believe in giving back to the planet in which we live, we plan to donate a portion of our profits to environmental agencies and to the people of Peru, as our company grows!

Our Team

Zach Adelman - CEO:

Zach founded Navitas LLC after preparing himself with over 10 years of wholesale business experience. After using herbal products for the last 15 years he decided he should try to develop his own business promoting the products he uses. He decided to start promoting Maca Power because he has benefited from its health-enhancing properties, and his friends in Australia have been very successful in developing and selling the brand down under. Zach believes in providing the finest quality products available, with excellent customer service and competitive pricing. His knowledge of the wholesale industry and worldwide network provides an excellent foundation for Navitas LLC and Maca Power. He has used the Internet and E-Commerce for business for the last 6 years. This experience contributes to the development of what he hopes to be the finest quality website dedicated to Maca on the Internet.

Carolin McMahon - President:

Carolin has been in the health and healing field for over 5 years. She is a Chartered Herbalist and Certified Reflexologist. She studied at the Dominion Herbal College and apprenticed with Dr. Annette Gilbody (Master Herbalist and Naturopathic Doctor). Carolin managed Natures Health Clinic & Natures Apothecary in Alberta then worked at Gaia Garden Herbal Dispensary in Vancouver for many years before moving on to manage a large scale distribution company. She is committed to developing new products and services for the herbal market. Her experience and passion for the herbal industry provides another excellent foundation for our company.

Jaime De La Barrera, MNIMH, AHG - Technical Director:

Jaime is a graduate of the 4 -year Medical Herbalist course at the College of Phytotherapy in England. Prior to this he completed all 3 levels of the Bach Flower Remedies Professional Training. In addition, he received his Chartered Herbalist designation from Dominion Herbal College and his Reiki Master designation in 1997. Jaime worked in the corporate sector for many years in management, sales and marketing. His life goals have always been directed towards helping people. He decided to go back to school to train in the use of herbalism to treat people with health problems. His approach to treating clients includes herbalism, exercise, nutrition and meditation.

Jaime is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (UK), American Herbalists Guild (USA) and the Canadian Herbalist Association of BC. Jaime has a successful practice based in Vancouver, BC and offers clinic consultations and teachings at all levels so people can discover the choices that herbalism offers.

Paul and Lisa Jordan - Maca Power Australia:

Paul and Lisa founded Maca Power in 2001 after traveling to Peru and realizing that this staple nutritious food was overpriced in Australia and therefore unaffordable for most people, including themselves.
